BERNESE MOUNTAIN DOG

After arriving from Switzerland, the Bernese Mountain Dog has now exchanged the role of the sheepdog for family pet. They are suitable for families with children aged 10 years and over. They are an energetic breed with food temperaments but which are probably too large for families with toddlers or very young children.

Papillon

Papillons are intelligent and adorable breeds of dog. Their name means butterfly in French because of their fanned out ears, symmetrical face and graceful figure.

WELFARE: Papillons are energetic and usually social. They only need 1 walk per day. But will be happy to have more. Never leave them alone for more than a few hours especially whilst young. They aren't very destructive, but they should never be let to wonder around outside unattended.

Minnie Jack

Minnie Jack is a mix between the Jack Russel Terrier and the Miniature Pinsche (Min Pin). This breed is good in a one dog home. The Minnie Jack is not a purebred dog, it is a designer hybrid. A Minnie Jack is ideal for kids or someone who loves to excercise.

Poodle

Poodles are intelligent breeds of dog. Many people say that they originated in France but this is incorrect they they were just popular there. They were originally bred to hunt ducks in the water which is why their coat is short and curled.They come in a variety of colours but are always 1 fixed colour and never mixtures. They can be; white, apricot, cream and black. They come in many sizes: Teacup (the smallest) Toy (the next smallest) Miniature (Medium sized) and standard (the larest).
